Ensuring Fluorspar Quality: Our Process with AH Knight from Mine to Shipment

At our company, quality assurance is not based on assumption — it is built on a structured, transparent, and verifiable process. A recent shipment of 540 MT fluorspar, packed in 281 jumbo bags, demonstrates how we work with internationally recognized inspection partners to ensure full confidence in every delivery.

Independent Inspection by AH Knight

For this shipment, the client appointed AH Knight (AHK) to carry out on-site sampling, sample preparation, and laboratory testing.

AHK’s involvement covered the entire process:

l Supervision during loading

l Systematic and representative sampling

l Controlled sample preparation

l Sample dispatch for laboratory analysis

High-Intensity Sampling for Maximum Representativeness

A total of 85 jumbo bags were selected for sampling, representing approximately 30% of the total shipment.

Each selected bag was opened and sampled at three different levels:

l Top

l Middle

l Bottom

This multi-point sampling method significantly reduces the risk of segregation bias, which is especially important for lump material.

During the re-bagging process, dynamic (flow) sampling was also conducted to further enhance representativeness.

As a result of this rigorous procedure, all 85 sampled bags were repacked into new jumbo bags to maintain cargo integrity after sampling.

Standardized Sample Preparation Process

The total collected sample reached 381.9 kg, ensuring a sufficiently large and statistically meaningful dataset.

The preparation process followed strict industry practices:

l Crushing to below 10 mm

l Homogenization and reduction

l Final division into 3 × 30 kg samples

These samples were then dispatched to the laboratory for further processing, including crush to 200 mesh prior to analysis.

Verified Analytical Results

All laboratory test results confirmed that the material meets the agreed specification of CaF₂ 90% min, validating both the product quality and the effectiveness of the sampling methodology.

What This Means for Our Partners

This process demonstrates more than just compliance — it reflects how we manage quality risk in a measurable way:

l Traceability: Every step is documented and verifiable

l Representativeness: High sampling ratio and multi-point method

l Transparency: Independent third-party involvement

l Reliability: Alignment between shipped and tested quality

Our Approach

We believe that long-term cooperation is built on trust, and trust must be supported by data and process.

By working closely with inspection companies such as AH Knight, and by applying rigorous internal controls, we ensure that every shipment is not only delivered — but proven.
