In January-April 2023, Japan imported around 9525 metric tons of Fluorspar from China. 98% of the imported Fluorspar had a purity of 97% or below, while only 2% had a purity above 97%.
The monthly breakdown shows varying proportions. In January, 42.87% of the imports were Fluorspar with a purity of 97% or below, which decreased to 15.22% in February. March and April had similar proportions, with 13.46% and 26.58% respectively.
This analysis indicates that the majority of Japan's Fluorspar imports from China during the first four months of 2023 were products with a purity of 97% or below, while higher purity variants (above 97%) constituted a smaller portion.
